FISHING

The club is the only available slipway on the Atlantic seaboard and is popular with both recreational and commercial fishing vessels. When the snoek are on the bite, long queues form early in the morning to launch. Recreational fishing includes reef fishing (mostly Cape Bream) and fishing for pelagic fish such as Yellowtail, Snoek and Katonkel that are mostly caught around Robben Island
