I trust that you are all keeping safe in these totally strange and unexpected times.
Our constitution requires notices to be sent to all members by 15 June each year calling for nominations of flag officers
Our AGM would normally take place on the middle Wednesday of August.
Due to the current national lockdown, even if it is hopefully changed to level 2 soon, it will still not allow us to have our AGM in August.
Your committee has deliberated this as well as the possibility of holding a virtual AGM and has resolved that we should postpone this year’s AGM, like other clubs have done, until such time as the circumstances permit a “normal” AGM which we hope will be able to take place towards the end of the year.
I trust that you will all agree that this is the correct and safest route to follow.
